Working CLIL 5th International Colloquium
8 July, 2027
Valadares, Vila Nova de Gaia
A series of workshops and presentations on
CLIL Across Schools: Local Solutions for Global Issues
The Working CLIL Colloquium is a biennial event organised by the Working CLIL Research Strand of the Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS) which has been bringing together teachers, researchers, teacher educators, and other practitioners to exchange perspectives on core issues in Content and Language Integrated Learning since 2018.
The fifth Working CLIL Colloquium will take place at Escola Secundária Dr. Joaquim Gomes Ferreira Alves, Valadares, Vila Nova de Gaia, home to GoCLIL, a benchmark grassroots CLIL project which has actively sustained itself since 2013. As one of the founding missions of Working CLIL is to support and conduct research on CLIL at work in schools, it is fitting that this colloquium goes to the very place where CLIL lives and breathes - a school!
This Colloquium is intended for: content and language teachers from pre-primary to secondary education who are engaged in CLIL or are considering future involvement; school directors and CLIL coordinators; CLIL teacher educators; school librarians; educational researchers and scholars interested in CLIL practices.
The languages of the event are English and Portuguese.
